Technic is not very popular over here in the United States and I would say that 99.99% of the attendees at Brickfair(as well as the public spectators) had never seen that model before and I certainly wasn't going to make a big fuss over it... I was happy that I actually got to see the model in person...
I also don't think that Ian, who was in charge of the Technic/Mindstorms had any clue that it belonged to someone other than the guy who brought it... Ian was more involved in the Mindstorms theme and helping with the GBC... I am not sure if he nominated the 4 models that the attendees voted on or not...
I too got an e-mail last night from Martin and as he requested, I passed it on along to Todd and Ian...
En gros, Scott ne l'aurait pas fait exprès en ne cochant pas la case pour exclure le moc du concours à l'inscription. C'est possible, d'autant plus que nos échanges de mail ont été intéressants et il ne semble pas être un voleur.
Par contre, je ce qui plus embêtant, c'est que lorsqu'il a eu le prix, il n'a pas dit que ce n'était pas le sien, peut être trop content d'avoir une nomination. Dans tout les cas, un crédit à mon nom aurait simplifié l'affaire.
Pour les notices, ça ne change pas ma position, ce sont les risques. Par contre, je note que de plus en plus de notice sont payantes, et le résultat n'est pas tout le temps probant. Pour moi payant, ça veut dire "qualité exemplaire". Mais ceci est un autre débat et on peut en débattre ici.
